The Aero Operations Strategy & Pursuits team is dedicated to delivering strategic, innovative, affordable, and agile solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations. Role Overview:
The Aero Operations Strategy & Pursuits team is seeking a full-time Operations Engineer Senior Staff to perform as a change agent for our team, Aero Operations, and our stakeholders. In this role, you will be instrumental in refining core governing processes, developing long range investment plans, and supporting a variety of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
• Make/Buy & Make-Where process refinement and execution standardization
• Execution strategy maturation, including Commodity and Site Strategies
• Development of long-term investment plans for critical capabilities
• Implementation of process standardization and a business rhythm across the team.
This highly impactful role will require you to build strong cross-functional relationships while managing expectations for a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders across Aero Operations. You will be responsible for fostering a change management mindset among the team, while leveraging project management and leadership skills to organize, prioritize, and accelerate progress for key strategic initiatives. While this is not a leadership role, an ideal candidate will have a strong interest in developing and exercising their leadership skillset, and will be a significant contributor in guiding the execution of the team’s varied responsibilities. You will make a difference to our bottom line by enabling strategic decision making needed to execute the work of today while preparing for the work of tomorrow.

Basic Qualifications:• Demonstrated proficiency with change management and/or project management methodologies.
• Experience with Operations strategy, manufacturing strategy, and/or production strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including senior and executive leadership.
Desired Skills:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a Technical Engineering, Operations, Business discipline preferred, with 14+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Broad knowledge of Operations responsibilities and processes for aircraft development, production, and sustainment.
• Strong interest in developing and exercising a leadership skillset.
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced aircraft development and production environment.
• Experience developing executive level presentations and communication documents.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• SECRET Clearance required with investigation within the last 5 years.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $107,400 - $205,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $123,500 - $232,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
