What You Will Be Doing• Responsible for researching, coordinating, design and implementing tool engineering and design jobs for maintaining and enhancing AMMM and other programs needing assistance.
• Support the growth necessary and in agreement with the program office to properly staff the Tool engineering team as a critical support organization.
• Responsible for investigating, coordinating, and implementing tool designs jobs for maintaining and enhancing AMMM.
• Required to create tooling concepts and review tool designs and should have Catia knowledge.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignments.
• Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Additional function is providing floor support by assisting in corrective action activities for AMMM production in reference to tooling and includes vendor and feeder plant support.
• Responsible for answering SPARS and SATRs and work with Supply Chain management. Coordinate and interact with tooling departments, Jig Shop and Tool Inspection, when supporting tool make efforts and inspecting tools or parts.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
• Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Develop new techniques and skills needed to grow future tooling and customer needs.
• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
Considered an emerging authority.
These activities could require travel both domestically and internationally.

This position is in Marietta, GABasic Qualifications:
• Experience working in a Manufacturing &/or Production Operations Environment.
• Prior experience designing, developing, and implementing tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, &/or prototype model production required for production or experimental use.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of electronic measuring equipment, such as laser trackers.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
