Description:Interprets federal and state laws, regulations, and orders as they apply to environmental practices. Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these practices are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that reporting requirements are met. Ensures that inspections are conducted, corrective actions are completed on time, and all necessary documentation is kept. Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from within the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc. Develops and implements programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies. Audits and evaluates current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations. Does not litigate.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree
- Experience with Environmental Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance
- Previous experience with auditing of environmental laws and standards (Air, Water, Waste, & Stormwater)
- Must be able to create and update company policies and procedures related to environmental compliance.
- Ability to collect, create, and analyze data.
- Experience with training employees on environmental regulations and best practices
Desired Skills:- Advanced knowledge in a field of science, environmental engineering, or related discipline.
- Knowledge of environmental sciences/engineering systems, principles, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of national and international environmental laws/regulations and regulatory/resource agencies’ permitting processes and responsibilities, industry standards for environmental compliance, and best management practices for minimizing potential environmental impacts during project execution.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction systems, methods, and work processes.
- Knowledge of construction planning, estimating, procedures, and execution.
- Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of environmental subcontractors or consultants.
- Experience in environmental monitoring and compliance inspection during construction.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials and waste management, erosion and sediment control methods, and restoration techniques.
- Knowledge of Bechtel’s organizational structure, functions, and administrative procedures.
- Skilled in oral and written communication.
- Must be self-driven and able to plan and execute work without direct supervision from senior management and/or peers.
- Knowledge of Haz Waste Regulations

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
