These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.
The selected candidate for the Sustainment Engineer - Level 2 position will be as an LSA administrator for F-35 Training Devices responsible for data entry/management into ATLAS (and potentially SLICwave or other logistics data bases). The successful candidate will provide technical expertise working with Engineering and Logistics counterparts to establish sustainment solutions for F-35 Training Devices. This requires active involvement with multiple engineering disciplines and reviewing technical data, modification kits, blueprints, engineering illustrations, schematics, engineering BOM releases, Type Version Effectivities (TVE), and Source Control Drawings. Duties include translation of Production BOM's to Sustainment BOM's, determining quality and completeness state, and coordinating release of sustainment part data required by fleet maintainers. The candidate will execute assigned tasks to meet deliveries, monitor efficiency, and coordinate source data updates/corrections ahead of release to meet schedule commitment milestones. This includes all aspects of provisioning data establishment to represent each released configuration. The candidate must have a good working knowledge in GEIA-STD-0007/MIL-STD-1388 data requirements and experience with product support management, and a well-suited multi-tasker. Must have an active security clearance or an ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Working knowledge of DoD provisioning processes
o Experience of GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-STD-1388 requirements
o Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SMR) codes
• Experience with Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) and/or Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL)
• Experience with utilizing and/or reviewing maintenance procedures
• Familiar with Spares Modeling dependencies on provisioning data
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
Desired Skills:• Working knowledge of SAP, COS, P2P, IHS, ePDM, and Parts Visibility
• Experience in DoD Logistics
• Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment
• Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications and contribute to Digital Transformation efforts
• Ability to perform data trends analysis, graphical presentations, and reports generation
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques to include OPUS
• Experience interacting with management and customers
• Solid understanding of supply support and depot repair activities is desirable
• Familiar with the Sustainment Part Information Record (SPIR) data processes
• Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and systems (e.g. PDM/ePDM)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
