Description:Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as a Depot Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer Senior Staff for our F-35 program! This position will function as the F-35 Modification Technical Lead located at Woensdrecht Air Base, Netherlands and support Netherlands National Air Vehicle Depot operations. Organizationally, this position aligns with the Modifications, Upgrades and Overhaul (MUO) Operations Team for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) and will be a direct report day-to-day to the AFS MUO F-35 Depot Execution Senior Manager. The selected candidate will deploy directly from their current location to Woensdrecht, Netherlands.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Act as the primary technical liaison for all post-delivery Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) modifications.
• Guide the successful implementation of F-35 modification efforts.
• Act as project lead for applicable modification packages.
• Rally and align all support requirements; engineering, parts/kits, touch labor, tools, etc. with the team.
• Coordinate project or task logistics with host organizations to schedule aircraft or asset availability, induction, inspection, delivery and support requirements.
• Review and evaluate completion of modification efforts and provides feedback to the team for continuous improvement.
• Monitor Mod schedule with supervision to meet target completion.
• Provides modification schedule and status in the Lightning II Status Report.
• Monitor Cannibalizations from Mod aircraft that impacts delivery.
• Support resolution of Over & Above discoveries
• Ensure compliance with Customer, Company, and Program procedures relative to the Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Modifications.
• Provide contractor site leadership with complete sight picture for F-35 Post Delivery Modification development, support planning, integration, and implementation.
• Must be proactive and always utilize sound judgment; diplomatic with the ability to establish and preserve a creditable relationship with all personnel.
• Provide daily status updates on aircraft schedule, risks, and constraints during the daily depot tag-ups and other recurring meetings.
• Must have a US passport.
• Must be willing to comply with all Netherlands laws, mandates and regulations including health and safety.
• Coordinate the successful execution of all depot modification gates.
• Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at an OCONUS facility that requires special access.
• Total Compensation will include Base Pay plus supplemental compensation related to the deployment.
• Compensation once expatriated is based upon LM Corporate pay bands.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
· Experience with 5th Generation fighter aircraft maintenance, operations and modifications.
· Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 10 years or more of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree or will accept an Associates degree from an accredited college with 12 years of professional experience
· At least 8 years depot-level mod incorporation experience
· Aircraft Depot-level or Field Team Mod leadership experience
· Must have experience manning, leading, and supporting all aspects of unit and depot level aircraft modifications including Contractor Field Team (CFT) support.
· Extensive background in Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) implementation.
· Experience managing projects
· Extensive knowledge of the sustainment organization to enable and exercise appropriate reach back support
· Candidate must be proficient with researching and interpreting modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications etc.
· Proficient using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel).
· Must have a United States passport.

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
· Experience working with and consulting USAF, US Navy, and/or Foreign Military Representatives
· Experience presenting and briefing JPO, Program management, Planning and scheduling, DCMA, LST, Ops Center, and foreign partners concerning depot operations.
· Ability to identify, track, and resolve issues in all gates of the depot flow.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Power plant certificate.
· Knowledge and experience with program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications.
· Military service at multiple levels of maintenance, logistics, and support of fighter aircraft.
· Ability to speak Dutch is a plus
· Familiarity with Royal Netherlands Air Force organization and operational constructs
· Proven experience in coordinating F-35 aircraft mod/retrofit actions with a diverse team of contractors and end users
· Experience and working knowledge with JSF sustainment tools; Product Data Manager (PDM), JSF Data Library (JDL), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Lightning II Information Support Tool (LIST), MODIFACTS, Fleet Database (FMDB), Visualization Assembly System (VAS) and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
