Description:Tactical Missiles Finance Team is looking for an experience professional that is a self-motivated person with a excellent education in business, finance or accounting, who is interested in learning and applying all aspects of defense contract budgeting, earned value measurement, forecasting, analysis and reporting skills in a exciting environment. This position will support a myriad of program finance functions and will include the following responsibilities:
Long-Range Planning (LRP) for business area.
Manages financial metrics for business area.
Effectively communicates the financial performance to senior management.
Provide support to the Contract Status Reviews (CSRs) process to include presentation of financial data to Sr. Management.
Provides financial leadership and business acumen in working with program personnel across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Office functions to position MFC in the affordability area to win future missile programs.
Leads preparation of budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Performs employees' analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Assists in the performance of schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
Incorporates contractual changes into control systems.
Maintains awareness of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
Basic Qualifications:Three (3) or more years of related experience.
Experience establishing / managing program cost baselines.
Experience with Earned Value Management conducting Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis.
Desired Skills:Bachelor's degree focus in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Preparing accompanying analysis and recommendations for presentation to various levels of leadership.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Experience with developing and reporting business metrics.
Knowledge of Government contracting and pricing.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to drive financial decisions to closure Strong business acumen.
Proven self-starter and team player.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
