Description:Material Review Engineer (MRB)Location: Greenville SCWhat You Will Be DoingJoin our dynamic team in Greenville, SC, as a Material Review (MRB) Engineer, where you'll play a key role in supporting the production and final assembly of the iconic F-16 fighter jet. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in every aspect of aircraft manufacturing, from detail fabrication to final systems integration.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate technical solutions for discrepancies in high-performance aeronautical parts, assemblies, installations, and finishes.
- Work closely with various teams, including Stress/Service Life, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures and Systems Design, Safety, and Materials and Processes.
- Support the production floor by implementing best practices, improving processes, and coordinating lessons learned and corrective actions.
Physical DemandsThis role requires hands-on involvement in evaluating non-conformances on aircraft and components, which may include climbing, working in confined spaces, and moving parts in a busy production environment.
Work Schedule- Shift: This is a second-shift position.
- Travel: Occasional business travel may be required.
- Additional Hours: Some weekend and holiday work will be necessary.

- Experience with design, manufacturing engineering, and/or MRB
- Experience with making timely decisions and possess the ability to understand and manage financial impacts created by specific decisions
- Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
Desired Skills:-Experience with aeronautical materials and limitations, state-of-the-art measurement and tooling techniques, field maintenance, and repair support
- Prior Material Review experience
- Ability to make technical decisions and evaluations of non-conforming products with little outside input, accurate disposition information, and in an expedient manner
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with most types of aeronautical materials and fabrication processes such as composites, metals, wiring, tubing, and ducting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
