Program Summary

Job Summary
As a Master Electrician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Regional General Site Manager and Site Leadership by contributing insights to identify key success factors for the Electrical Department. In this position, you will provide leadership to establish organizational structures and processes necessary for the effective execution of construction and maintenance services. You will oversee electrical services, ensure quality assurance, evaluate subcontractor performance, and manage construction costs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute electrical services, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct Electrical Technical Inspections and Preventative Maintenance Inspections according to KBR processes.
- Identify Life, Health, and Safety (LHS) issues and defects in compliance with BS7671 18th Edition and U.S. National Electric Code.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever necessary.
- Evaluate electrical service execution for compliance with contract terms, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality standards.
- Advise the project team on the status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors related to ongoing scope.
- Maintain short-range look-ahead plans and communicate any deviations to Site Managers and the Regional General Site Manager (GSM).
- Review and monitor the cost and man-hour budget for the installation process.
- Develop an equipment and tool requirement plan, reviewing it with Site Managers and GSM.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience as an Electrician.
- Must have at least 2 years of Team Lead / Foreman / Supervisor / Management experience.
- Requires U.S. State or UK certification / Licensure as a Master Electrician or equivalent.
- Requires experience in both British and American standards.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition and U.S. National Electric Code.
- Must be familiar with Fluke Multi-Functional Testers used in BS7671 Testing and inspection.
- Must be knowledgeable with regards to electrical codes and EU standards.
- Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to establish and implement organizational structures and processes.
- Requires experience in overseeing construction and maintenance services.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Additional certifications related to electrical services.
- Familiarity with industry-standard electrical safety practices.
- Proven track record of effective subcontractor management.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical design principles.
- Experience in developing and maintaining cost and person-hour budgets.
