Position Summary
The Manager, Operations Finance is a critical role within the Finance Team and reports to the Director, Operations Finance. The role is a key finance partner to field operations, working closely with Divisional and Regional field leadership to analyze and report financial results and key performance indicators, manage labor, optimize trade-offs, and ensure the company meets or exceeds operating plan targets. The successful candidate will develop a robust understanding of the company’s field operations, build strong business partnerships, and be able to convert data into actions that drive financial and operational improvement. This role is instrumental to achieving the company’s objectives around revenue and EBITDA growth by supporting strategic decision-making in the field.
Responsibilities
Directly support field leadership at the Divisional, Regional, and District levels by analyzing and reporting financial and operational results and variance drivers to operations partners
Support field leadership to effectively manage labor and capacity based on operational metrics
Partner with operations to optimize financial models, financial and operational metrics, reporting, and other analytical tools to track KPIs and guide business decisions
Present monthly financial results and variance drivers to operations and company leadership
Perform financial analysis and support field requests to drive revenue and EBITDA growth
Manage and support the career development of one direct report
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
5+ years of experience in Operations Finance or FP&A
Understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes, with previous experience required
Understanding of forecasting data models, both operational and financial
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to deliver results in a work environment with competing business interests
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative nature that thrives in interfacing with multi-faceted teams
Strong drive for results and continuous improvement
Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning a plus
Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and SQL a plus
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
