As the Director of People Partners, you will play a pivotal role in the direction and execution of Zebra’s people and talent initiatives through effective leadership of the regional People Partners team. This position collaborates closely with functional Talent Strategy Partners and People Center of Excellence (CoE) leaders on the delivery of talent initiatives, people services and programs. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong leadership skills to advance people services and drive a positive employee experience aligned with Zebra’s values and culture.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead and develop a high performing People Partners team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Implement regional talent strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and Talent Centers of Excellence strategic plans.
Employee Experience and Engagement:
- Provide exceptional people services delivery across the employee lifecycle in support of employees and managers in region.
- Drive employee engagement programs and champion initiatives that enhance the employee experience. Promote a positive company culture and ensure an inclusive work environment.
- Maintain a pulse on employee sentiment, representing the voice of employees to influence people services and programs.
People Operations and Compliance:
- Develop and implement strategies, practices, training and communication to drive employee relations best practices and resolve workplace concerns and performance issues.
- In partnership with Legal, ensure compliance with laws, regulations and requirements and stay informed about changes and emerging risks, proactively evolve practices and policies to address.
- Monitor key regional people metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support and facilitate business restructuring and acquisition integration activities as needed.
Consultation and Collaboration:
- Maintain an organization that creates trusting relationships with employees and managers, providing expert consultation, insights, and guidance on people-related matters to drive organizational success.
- Enable managers and effectively deliver people initiatives, policies, and programs in support of talent management, development, and retention.
- Foster a culture of performance excellence through delivering effective performance management coaching.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources management, or related field
- 15+ years in an HR role
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role with broad-based experience of increasing responsibility including: organization development and talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation planning, labor and employment laws and regulations, and acquisition/integration leadership.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into talent strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of people best practices, strong execution, process and operational excellence orientation.
- Exceptional at building relationships, stakeholder management, communication and conflict resolution, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization.
- 10% Travel
- Role is Hybrid (mix of onsite / Remote)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree highly desirable
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

Salary: USD 170400.00 - USD 255600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
