TITLE: Lead Software Engineer Mobile
LOCATION: Washington, D.C.
DUTIES: Works with customers, business analysts and teams to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions to be aligned with business and IT strategies and following architectural standards. Creates technical design specifications and assists in sizing technical requirements. Evaluates existing applications and platform and provides recommendations for system enhancements. Defines, develops, or modifies software application modules or enterprise-wide software systems using disciplined development processes. Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules, test activities/results and other areas such as error handling and backup/recovery procedures. Adheres to quality standards and procedures. Reviews modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application architecture standards and SLAs. Makes modules production-ready by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, completing version control documents. Assists in the development of user guides and training documentation. Provides technical leadership coaching and mentoring to team members.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field followed by seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Lead Software Engineer Mobile or any occupation related to Computer Systems Engineering. Must also have four (4) years of experience: (1) Providing hands on mobile application development; (2) Developing applications using Swift and Objective C; and (3) Using Xcode and Visual Studio tools. Must also have three (3) years of experience: (4) Implementing software solutions with full IT development lifecycle within the Agile, Scrum, and SAFE development environments; (5) Developing Middleware and distributed systems architecture or Cloud solutions; (6) Using ServiceNow to follow incident and change management processes and practices; and (7) Using Database technologies. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.
SALARY: $143,458 to $149,400 per year
