Direct Support Professional (DSP) – 1:1 Community & Home-Based Support

Maxim Healthcare is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 1:1 support to individuals in their homes and throughout the local community. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping clients achieve greater independence and engagement in their daily lives.
As a DSP, you will work directly with individuals to provide support with daily living activities, community integration, social engagement, and personal goals. Responsibilities may include accompanying clients to appointments, recreational activities, community outings, and assisting with tasks in the home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support in patient homes and within the local community
- Assist with daily living activities and personal goals
- Encourage independence, socialization, and community involvement
- Accompany clients to appointments, activities, and outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Follow individualized care and support plans
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in community-based settings
- Previous caregiving, DSP, or human services experience is a plus, but not required
