- Annual Salary Pay: $70K
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Summary
The Inventory Specialist position is responsible for maintaining overall accurate inventory records; knowledge of overages, shortages, and damages; receipts, returns, and shipping functions to ensure proper documentation. Responsible for the coordination of the daily activities of inventory control group.
Essential Functions
- Reviews and monitors the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventory, outbound shipments, and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records. Coordinates and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with the manufacturers’ requirements, investigates inventory variances; directs the performance of daily/weekly cycle counts and adjusts inventory records if necessary
- Analyze inventory metrics and recommend improvements. Develop, maintain and evaluate databases and queries/reports to support inventory control analysis and reporting.
- Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
- Assess existing business processes and logic that impact companywide inventory operations
- Assist with weekly reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities.
- Coordinates the activities associated with product recalls upon request
- Monitors the activities associated with customer return shipments including overages, shortages and dumping, reconditioning, or returning to producing plant
- Supervises all inventory control personnel, if any, to achieve objectives relating to inventory control management, provides communication and suggests inventory improvements to supervisor.
- Effectively communicates with associates and customers in person and via telephone, verbally and non-verbally to accomplish necessary objectives. May be engaged in customer facing meetings to discuss inventory concerns or discrepancies.
- Effectively review performance of subordinates, if any, to ensure compliance to requirements.

Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- One (1) year or more 1-2 years related experience required
