We are in search of a LMS Administrator to join our task force at the Health Solutions Operation in Bethesda, MD. This opening will support federal health enterprise systems.
Research, design, develop and maintain enterprise system for our Leidos clients using the Adobe LMS/Moodle, SQL, API and Azure in an Agile software development environment. This involves the use of user stories, acceptance criteria and other software engineering artifacts as part of an Agile team.

Responsibilities Include:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated LMS Administrator to manage and support our Learning Management System (LMS) and related tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and maintaining LMS platforms, particularly SaaS-based solutions, and possess strong technical skills, including SQL, API integration, and cloud configuration. The role also involves user management, configuring training plans, and effectively communicating with the training office and end users. He/she will support the software configuration management process and understand software components and their interface requirements.
This position requires someone who is proactive and passionate about ensuring the quality of software deliverables and continuous improvement, as well as, and can communicate with the development teams what is required to achieve this effectively on tasks.
- LMS Administration:
- Configure and optimize LMS settings to meet organizational needs and ensure smooth operation.
- SaaS Product Configuration:
- Configure and integrate SaaS products related to LMS to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure proper setup and customization according to the organization's requirements.
- Web Development:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to implement interactive and responsive web interfaces.
- Training Material Management:
- Add, manage, and assign training materials to users within the LMS.
- Configure user training plans and monitor progress to ensure alignment with organizational learning objectives.
- User Management:
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the LMS.
- Ensure proper user access and security protocols are maintained.
- Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the training office, end users, and the IT team.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to end users on LMS features and functionalities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- SQL Querying:
- Utilize SQL to create, modify, and execute queries for reporting, data extraction, and troubleshooting within the LMS.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through effective database management.
- Issue Management:
- Monitor and manage LMS-related issues, including creating, tracking, and resolving tickets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- LMS API & Azure Cloud Configuration:
- Work with LMS APIs for integrations and customizations.
- Configure and manage Azure Cloud services related to the LMS for scalability, security, and performance.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or in a similar role. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Vue.js, React) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong knowledge of LMS platforms such as Adobe LMS, Moodle, or similar.
- Experience with configuring and managing SaaS products.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and generating reports.
- Familiarity with LMS API integration and Azure Cloud configuration.
- Experience in adding and managing training materials, configuring user training plans, and user management within the LMS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in interacting with the LMS/SaaS technical team to collaboratively resolve issues and ensure system stability.
- Experience in monitoring and managing LMS-related issues, including the creation, tracking, and resolution of support tickets.
- Experience with issue management and ticketing systems.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science or IT related discipline and 3 years of related experience is required.
- Certification in relevant LMS platforms or cloud services is a plus.
Clearance Requirements:
- Requires ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Work Environment:
- The role is primarily office-based, with occasional on-site responsibilities for customer meetings.

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
