Description:You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for the Camden Operations team. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.
What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the programming, maintaining, repairing, and testing of CNC tooling and equipment required to effect manufacturing processes in accordance with production rate requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
• Studying the customer's manufacturing requirements, including the desired output of the
machinery to be automated, the design of the components to be manufactured, the sequence of machine operations, and the total time the operational process requires. Creating the CNC program to control the machinery based on this analysis.
• Ensure the smooth operation of all CNC machines and troubleshoots and resolves any problems.
• Maintaining a program database with detailed records on all CNC machines.
• May train and supervise other engineers or technicians.
• Researching the latest technological advancements, and answer inquiries from internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with CAD/CAM systems and programming GE FANUC CNC controls
Desired Skills:Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Technology or Aerospace Engineering degree
preferred.
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical
design
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing
processes
Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Experience with ANSI Y14.5 GD&T
Knowledge of suspended loads and lifting device
requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills for
dealing with clients, supervisors, and other
engineers.

production team while balancing budgetary
constraints and meeting schedule deadlines.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
