Program Summary
The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.
Job Summary
This position performs a variety of activities relating to the requisitioning, receiving, warehousing, packaging, preserving, maintenance and operation of NBC defense equipment and supplies, in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements, for the MPF program. Performs other tasks as assigned. Will be required to work outside for extended periods of times.
Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Six years directly related work experience. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and all other safety related federal, state and local requirements. Knowledge of hazardous material identification techniques and safe handling, processing, packaging, and storage procedures for a wide variety of hazardous materials and wastes. Understanding of HTSI safety and health practices, principles, and programs. Knowledge of current laws, regulations, and standards governing hazardous waste and environmental concerns. Completion of the Basic NBC defense enlisted course at the U.S. Army chemical school, or equivalent. Must be able to wear protective clothing. Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position. U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
