MDP VETS is an 8-week paid fellowship for veterans or veteran spouses interested in Critical Environment Technician (CET) careers within Microsoft's U.S. datacenters.
We're looking for veterans with hands-on experience in:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems or power distribution
- HVAC or cooling systems
- Equipment maintenance and repair
- Industrial or facilities operations
The 2+ years of hands-on mechanical, maintenance, electrical, or HVAC language is specifically supported by the VETS program workbook.

- Preparation for Critical Environment Technician opportunities
The technical training, onsite experience, OSHA 10, and NFPA 70E elements are all part of the existing eight-week curriculum.
