Position Overview:
Boeing India Defense Team is currently looking for Senior Manager - Operations and Training Programs to join their team in New Delhi, India. Senior Manager reports to the Managing Director who is responsible for managing the Profit and Loss in a way that aligns with the strategic direction of BGS, BDS and BGS-GS business units.
This role will form part of the Boeing Defense India Leadership Team and will also play a pivotal role in supporting continued regional expansion of Boeing’s business interests.
This role will be the primary point of escalation for customer communication and will have significant external facing responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Supporting the ongoing and future Training and Operational Programs for various customers in India.
Drives the development of the BDI business objectives and strategies
Ensuring the success of the programs through flawless execution of customer facing contracts and capture of growth opportunities to build a sustainable business base.
Integrating across Boeing and other business entities in the region to ensure that the best of Boeing is applied to all business activities.
Implement Program Management Best Practices, drive a culture of learning and Boeing values in the program teams.
Leading teams across the projects, programs and platforms to successful execution of business goals.
The main projects / platforms to be managed by this role include:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
Certification in Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent.
A minimum of 20 years total experience with at least 5 years of work experience related to Government / defense programs or services.
Business level English language ability
Demonstrated leadership qualities, an ability to inspire, drive and lead a team across multiple sites and demographics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Work Experience with MOD on defense related programs
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage at multiple levels both internally and externally to the company.
Work Experience with a global MNC.
An understanding and appreciation of Indian cultural norms, and particularly an ability to interact successfully with Indian Defense customer representatives.
Excellent business acumen, and preferably demonstrated experience in running a profit and loss business.
Well-developed communication skills at an executive level and an ability to clearly, concisely and effectively develop and communicate strategic intent.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 21 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+ 20 years' related work experience.
Relocation:
This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
