Job Description
This expert/advanced individual reports to the Analytics Team Lead and can also act as an informal leader or coach amongst peers.
They are responsible for working on analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, interprets results, and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Acquire data from multiple data sources to perform root cause analysis.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in operational and speech data to provide answers to business questions as well as provide recommendations for action.
Interpret data and analyze results using various statistical techniques and tools.
Present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they activate upon them and make data driven decisions that help transform operations.
Collaborate with business partners and key stakeholders to prioritize requests/needs.
Collaborate with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis (examples: CX, EAA, etc).
Measure and monitor results of applied recommendations and present adjustments, if necessary.
Ensure all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.
Utilizing analysis, provide consultation/recommendations to solve problems, optimize processes, improve experiences for customers and employees, etc.
Provide recommendations related to business objectives.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics.
Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Experience in analytics and analytic tools such as SQL/SAS/Python/R for querying data and for data manipulation/transformation and Tableau/PowerBI for data exploration.
Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent communicator both verbally and written.
This position is responsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company.
This includes data mining, data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation. This position may also have a working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Geo-spatial tools and others to perform analysis and interpret data.
