THE ROLE
AMD’s EPYC™ Product Management and Marketing team drives the strategy and commercial success of our EPYC server processor portfolio. As AI and high-performance computing accelerate infrastructure demand, this role will help shape how EPYC CPUs enable next-generation data center platforms.
In this senior role, you will lead the strategy and go-to-market for platform-level features and capabilities across EPYC CPUs and the broader server platform. You will turn customer needs into feature priorities, work with architecture and engineering teams to shape solutions, and bring those capabilities to market with clear value propositions and plans to drive adoption. You will work across architecture, silicon and system engineering, BIOS, firmware and software teams, customer solutions, sales, and marketing. Your work will connect technical capability to customer outcomes and measurable business impact throughout the feature lifecycle, from early definition through launch and scaled adoption.
This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on AMD’s growth in advanced compute markets.
THE PERSON
You are energized by the AI transformation and want to help define the hardware foundation behind it. You combine technical credibility in AI or data center compute platforms with strong business instincts.
You are comfortable engaging engineering teams and executive stakeholders, crafting clear product narratives, and building long-term advisory relationships with customers and partners.
You thrive in fast-moving environments, manage competing priorities with discipline, and take ownership of outcomes. You think like a GM and execute like an owner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the strategy and end-to-end go-to-market for EPYC platform features, spanning CPU, BIOS, firmware, software, system integration, and ecosystem capabilities.
Gather customer and market needs, define use cases, and translate them into feature requirements and roadmap recommendations. Influence roadmap priorities with customer value, technical feasibility, competitive differentiation, and business potential.
Partner with architecture and engineering teams to shape feature definition, validate use cases, and coordinate technical readiness across the platform and ecosystem.
Develop clear positioning, value propositions, and evidence-based claims. Create and review customer-facing materials such as technical briefs, presentations, use-case content, launch assets, and sales collateral for accuracy and quality.
Build and execute launch and adoption plans with product marketing, sales, customer solutions, and ecosystem partners. Support customer briefings and represent AMD in technical and business discussions with key customers and partners.
Assess feature differentiation, business value, ROI, and monetization opportunities. Define adoption measures, track customer and market feedback, and refine the go-to-market approach as the feature scales.
Enable field teams with training and practical guidance so they can explain feature benefits, use cases, and customer value consistently.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Several years of experience in product management, technical product marketing, or a related role focused on server hardware or data center platforms.
Deep technical understanding of server CPUs, platform architecture, systems, and the BIOS, firmware, or software capabilities that affect platform adoption.
Demonstrated success defining and launching server or high-performance computing products, platform features, or ecosystem solutions.
Experience developing go-to-market strategies, technical positioning, customer content, and field enablement for complex products.
Ability to translate customer pain points and technical capabilities into clear use cases, differentiated value, and business outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage technical teams, customer engineers, executives, and partners.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional work and influence decisions across teams without direct authority.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred. An advanced technical degree or MBA is desirable.
