SUMMARY :
This Supply Chain Procurement and Inventory Analyst will be the technical procurement and inventory expert and coach, supporting Renewal’s flagship manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, MN. This position will be responsible for learning our procurement and inventory planning processes and systems and teaching and supporting our supply chain purchasing and inventory team. This role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement to our business processes and technology to drive value for our team. We are looking for a team member with a passion for improving customer delivery, facilitation and previous success leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position is not open to relocation. Candidates must be local to the MN area.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Drive business value through effective deployment of our procurement and inventory planning processes, technology, and team. Passionately advocate and lead improvements for our internal and external customers.
- Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve material and information flow processes using data and data analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including engineers, research and development, IT, suppliers, supervisors, and project leads.
- Serve the supply chain procurement and inventory team as the local subject matter expert on the procurement and inventory planning and accuracy processes and technology. This position will require detailed understanding of information and material flow from order entry to customer delivery with the ability to coach others with less expereince.
- Analyze, develop recommendations, and lead implementation of continuous improvements to business tools and processes, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, value stream mapping, and business process design sessions.
- Perform analytics to determine how to best resolve constraints to balance service, inventory, and cost. Reviews data to ensure successful implementation and interface with other functions and systems. Create and edit informational dashboards and performance indicators for the procurement and inventory team.
- Function as liaison between the IT team and the user community.
· MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.
- 6-8 years combined experience in Sourcing, Inventory Management, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, MRP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems.
- Demonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining and data reporting. Expert mastery of data mapping and data validation techniques. Able to extract, analyze, and summarize data.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to coach others on lean tools including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, kaizen facilitation, A3 thinking, waste elimination.
- Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers with demonstrated strong facilitation skills.
- Provides peer-to-peer coaching and developmental feedback to others.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience with change management strategies and processes required to support an organization through change.
- Previous success in ERP implementations.
- Previous success in a high volume, high mix, just-in-time manufacturing enviornment.
- Previous expereince in supplier relationships and driving improvements with external partners.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
