Job Description

Economies around the globe are moving towards Real Time Payments (RTP), bringing substantial innovation and modernization to payments. There is an increasing demand for the provision of real-time payment services across every region of the world, adding trillions of dollars in payments volume globally on an annual basis. To drive successful adoption, RTP infrastructures are supported by value added services across the entire payments value chain and all use cases – this is where Visa comes in.
You will join the Visa Protect for Account-to-Account Payments (A2A) product team, who design and build state of the art advanced AI products to help Financial Institutions detect and prevent fraud & scams in real-time payments.
Visa Protect for A2A is part of a key strategic growth pillar for Visa globally to address rising market demand for new and emerging payment flows.
The A2A product team functions as an incubated start-up, taking ideas through the entire product lifespan from concept to market, all while leveraging Visa’s global infrastructure, technology, and experience as a leader in global payments.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for executing and delivering the rapid design and build of our cutting-edge A2A products. You will work alongside multiple Visa teams to build out the service, deliver it to the client and onboard them.
Apart from working on product development, the Senior Product Manager will also be involved in launching the service and activating markets across the globe. This includes the delivery of client pitches and demos, fostering client relationships, and supporting delivery of pilots and live service to clients.
Apart from working on product development, the Senior Product Manager will be involved in designing the product roadmap and partnering with multiple teams on the long-term vision.
What will you do?
Deliver client pitches and demos to internal and external stakeholders.
Build regional market relationships. Provide product training and insights to strengthen the regional teams.
Take a creative and Design Thinking approach to develop innovative solutions to industry challenges.
Support in managing team as needed. Support wider product team as needed.
Play an instrumental role in the A2A team, actively participating in the overall strategy design, commercialization, and execution of Risk Analytics products.
Become go-to-person for General Availability of A2A Products. Represent the product and product strategy.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Strong background in product management for advanced analytics products in Financial Services, encompassing client facing delivery experience.
- Experience working in Financial Crime or Payments within the Financial Services industry is preferred.
- Proven record of accomplishment of success in fast-paced, agile environments with demanding timelines.
- Experience in designing products that use complex modelling techniques (inc. AI/ML).
- Taking products to market managing end-to-end processes (such as enabling monitoring and support, client services, technical support, etc.)
- Passion for innovating and delivering differentiated products & user experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface across levels, regions, cultures, and languages, and engage successfully with both specialist teams and broader business partners.
- Strong ability to consume complex data and information, develop insights and create impactful stories.
- Experience with Cloud technologies and best practices are preferred.
- Understanding of Data Science concepts is preferred.
- Knowledge about SDLC and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience on Jira.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning, drive change management.
- Ability to lead executive messaging.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 192,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
