Imediate Hiring: Package Handler
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 - 11:00 - 15Hrs per week
Duties:
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles
- Sort packages based on destination and delivery route
- Use RF scanner to track and locate packages within the distribution center
- Organize packages for efficient storage and distribution
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Operate forklift to move packages and materials within the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting of packages up to [weight limit]
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to operate an RF scanner and other warehouse equipment
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including file management
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively sort and track packages
- Ability to use an RF scanner to locate and retrieve packages
- Experience with loading and unloading packages of various sizes and weights
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with operating a forklift safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy packages (100lbs or more)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
