Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring effective, accelerated team delivery through best practice of Agile methodologies and frameworks. Applies Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, frameworks in support of CSX delivery. Facilitates activities related thereto, with oversight for communication, predictability, and quality. Supports multiple delivery teams through removal of tactical impediments. Masters and advances agile practice, providing a reliable embodiment of mindset and principles
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Supports multiple delivery teams, including those of intermediate and large scope/complexity
- Understands the concepts of agile delivery, and works to ensure the team is successful by guiding team through delivery cycle including but not limited to release planning, story writing and refinement, estimation, sprint planning, review/demos, retrospectives, daily standups. Drives regular reflection and adjustment to working agreements and resultant team practices. In addition, audits and coaches colleagues to ensure efficacy
- Support continuous improvement and predictable, high-quality output by generating action plans to improve team velocity. Monitor sprint burndown/work-in-process to manage sprint flow, ensuring teams have emergency procedures in order to reduce impact of disruptions. Manage tactical and systematic impediments, including upstream and inter-sprint dependencies, to improve overall team flow and ensure just-in-time delivery (technical assets, requirements, designs, or decisions). Ensures team is supported through best practices and presence of key artifacts (Team Working Agreement, Backlog, defined Roles incl. PO). Actively rely on department playbooks/agile toolkit to inspect and adapt process and outcomes. In addition, actively manage upstream dependencies by tracking progress of dependency deliverables, attending external team planning and ceremonies (i.e. Agile Practitioner-of-Agile Practitioners), and providing support to clear impediments for dependency delivery. Actively evolves on department playbooks/agile toolkit. Establishes and supports a culture of self-organizing, self-managing teams which continuously seeks out opportunities to improve performance.
- Record and maintain key team metrics including assignment metadata, team assessment information, KPI data including work product quality. In addition, analyze key team metrics and evolve KPI data.
- Engage and proactively align expectations with Delivery Team, Product Owner, and Leaders (Tech, Business)
- Ability to maintain working relationships with various stakeholders including business partnersMiscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in experience required managing or leading IT projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 7 or more years of experience in experience required managing or leading IT projects
- 7 or more years of supervisory experience in IT supervisory experience required
