In this role, you will spearhead strategic workforce planning and development efforts. You will play a key role in supporting the Workforce Development team’s objectives and act as an internal advisor, driving initiatives that influence organizational strategy and foster a collaborative culture.
Job Responsibilities:

University Relations: Build relationships with core universities and create opportunities for team involvement as advisors, guest speakers, and tour hosts. Manage campus engagement and recruit entry-level and intern candidates. Process offers for candidates from university relations.
Internship Programming: Develop and manage year-round internship programs, including onboarding materials, workshops, site visits, and an intern summit. Oversee recruitment and offer processing for interns and full-time conversions.
- Workforce Planning: Maintain a monthly projection tool to track Position Control and staffing needs. Review open positions with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition to optimize posting schedules. Focus on key positions and develop feeder programs from educational institutions and military transitions. Manage engagement with feeder programs and organize participation.
Career Awareness Initiatives: Engage with K-12 organizations to promote careers in architecture, engineering, and construction. Coordinate team participation in advisory roles, mentorships, and events. Implement a high school shadowing program to funnel into the internship program.
General: Collaborate with HR and Operations teams. Support Talent Acquisition with workload balancing. Research strategic workforce planning best practices. Travel as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (architecture, engineering, construction, business, human resources).
- Experience: 0-3 years in related fields.
- Skills:
- Communication skills, customer service, relationship management, ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong technology aptitude with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with web-based technologies.
- Innovative, creative, solutions-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, ability to take initiative, highly organized with attention to detail.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
