We are seeking a Senior Staff Cyber Architect to join the Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) Cyber Architecture & Design team, supporting the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Line of Business. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and provide expert-level engineering support, focusing on assessing the cyber resiliency of existing systems, guiding the modernization and enhancement of new system architectures, and contributing to new business captures.
Key Responsibilities
-Assess and improve the cyber resiliency of current system architectures.
-Lead the development and modernization of system architectures, ensuring cybersecurity is integrated throughout the system development lifecycle.
-Serve as the primary liaison between Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) and the Systems Engineering and Architecture communities across various programs and contracts.
-Ensure that cyber requirements are fully addressed, decomposed, and integrated into system designs from inception to verification, driving resiliency into advanced avionics platforms.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to execute direct contract scope for advanced aerospace platforms and weapon systems.
-Innovate security solutions and guide the evaluation and integration of new technologies into next-generation capabilities.
Additional Responsibilities
-Articulate the impact of emerging security requirements on both new and existing system designs.
-Communicate technical solutions clearly across a range of stakeholders, including engineering teams, project management, cybersecurity teams, U.S. government agencies, services, and partners.
-Drive the adoption of common solutions, patterns, and reuse across system levels.
-Mentor and teach new technologies and methodologies to ensure knowledge continuity and support team growth.

Basic Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge of embedded avionics systems/subsystems (AMMM platform preferred).
• Proficient understanding of the system development lifecycle for embedded avionics platforms.
• Experience leading integration across dynamic contractual efforts for major DoD acquisition programs.
• Experience with embedded System Architecture, Systems Engineering and Software Development.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor Degree in a STEM or Business-related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or Business-related discipline.
• Experience driving transformational growth and creating innovation strategies.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
