This Security Manager position is in Annapolis Junction MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management and execution of all contractual Program Security requirements for the RMS Cyber & Intelligence market segment. This role includes liaising with senior level leadership on a regular basis, as well as external customer collaborations. The successful candidate will manage and lead other Special Programs Security Professionals working at two Maryland locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: managing and leading the Security team to include staffing, meetings, development, performance evaluations; overseeing business strategies including proposals, capital planning, budgets, and new business startups, and oversight as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO). This position requires tact, diplomacy, and clear understanding of the USG regulations to ensure execution of multiple programs effectively and efficiently. Solid knowledge of Sensitive Compartment Information Security requirements and Special Access Program Security is required. Some domestic travel may be required in this position (less than 10%). This position is scheduled for normal first shift 9/80 (B) work week but may have mission requirements, occasionally requiring extended work hours beyond the typical norms in order to meet program deadlines. It is considered mission driven to meet customer needs. Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Must have and maintain active TS/SCI w/ FSP clearance.
2. Ability to meet Lockheed Martin Corporation, customer and government security screening requirements are required for this role.
3. Be available to respond to alarms after standard work hours.
4. Advanced knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives
5. Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and customer and stakeholder interface.
Desired Skills:
1. Prior L-code/Manager/Supervisor experience.
2. Prior experience working with the Maryland Program Office (MPO)
3. Prior experience working with Intelligence Community (IC) members,
4. Prior experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) and or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)
5. Prior experience building and leading effective teams.
6. Experience working on DoD contracts and in military and defense contractor environments
7. Control Account Manager (CAM) & budget experience; Contract Proposals and Basis of Estimates experience a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $96,700 - $185,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
