Title:
LPI/LPD RF Engineer
KBR is seeking a highly qualified LPI/LPD RF Engineer to provide support to our customer that operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.
As a LPI/LPD RF Waveform and Propagation Engineer, you have the expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions and algorithms for low probability of detection (LPD) / low probability of intercept (LPI) waveforms. This includes knowledge of F test equipment and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of expertise and experience with low probability of detection (LPD) / low probability of intercept (LPI) waveforms
- Ability to operate RF test equipment and develop and execute test procedures.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related quantitative science field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field
- Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs
- Experience with cloud development processes
- Experience with industry system engineering practices
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Basic Compensation: $114,600 - $171,900
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
