What You'll Do
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Serve as the Domain/System Administrator of the Mission LAN, ensuring the optimal performance, security, and maintenance of the system. This includes overseeing the operating system and various software products.
• Perform system startup, shutdown, backups, and restores, while maintaining detailed records of system upgrades and changes for reporting.
• Implement advanced virus scanning and firewall protections in alignment with security protocols to safeguard the Mission LAN.
• Serve as the Data Transfer Officer, facilitating secure data movement between UNCLASS and CLASSIFIED networks when necessary.
• Collaborate with corporate resources and external experts to address challenges and ensure mission success.
• Uphold security compliance standards and ensure all Mission LAN components meet the highest security requirements.
• Take on additional technical responsibilities as needed, contributing to the overall results of the project.
Basic Qualifications:
What You Bring
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or equivalent experience/combined education demonstrating a solid technical foundation.
• At least 8 years of core experience in relevant technical areas, showcasing your expertise in systems administration and security.
• A minimum of 10-14 years of experience in systems administration, particularly in designing, configuring, and installing complex information systems, including routers, servers, switches, storage systems, and laptops.
• Proficiency in designing and managing Microsoft Windows and Linux-based domains, demonstrating your versatility in different environments.
• Experience with issue tracking software such as JIRA, highlighting your ability to manage and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with ESRI products, which would enhance your ability to work with geographic information systems (GIS).
• Experience with Oracle database management, adding value to your database administration skills.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
