As a Training Course Coordinator, you'll lead the development and management of Maritime Warfare Officer Courses, collaborating with key stakeholders and enhancing training programs within a top-rated workplace. The Training Course Coordinator is responsible for the planning, administration, and ongoing development of Maritime Warfare Officer Courses. This role involves course planning and implementation, resource management, and maintaining the course schedule in collaboration with various stakeholders, including TA-MW (Navy) and the KBR CIO. The Coordinator ensures timely communication of course information, program updates, and changes to instructors and participants, while managing student data in compliance with defense information management protocols.
Additionally, the Coordinator supports continuous improvement efforts by working with stakeholders to update materials, content, and methodologies, and undertakes other training management duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Essential:
Training operations planning background and experience working within the government or private sector.
Relevant broad-based experience in adult learning, VET, or broad matrix competency frameworks (government and/or industry settings).
Experience working in the government contracts environment.
An approved Certificate or Diploma in education and training, industry area or approved equivalent higher education qualifications.
Education and training operations.
Industry, corporate training models and systems.
Scheduling and planning, use of information management systems.
Sound knowledge and experience of adult learning.
Knowledge and experience of Learning Management Systems, performance support systems and other technologies.
Functional knowledge of the VET sector, RTO organisations and/or corporate learning and development frameworks.
NV1 security clearance is required
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in Education, Adult Education, Instructional Design or relevant field.
Significant experience the training/ student services operating environment.
CERT IV in Training and Assessment (TAE22).
