About this role:Corporate Risk is seeking a Business Execution Director: A dynamic leader to manage high priority initiatives related to development, education and awareness. This leader's primary focus will be on managing a team of professionals focused on creating and executing the Corporate Risk Learning plan. In addition, this leader will consult on survey methodology and staffing strategy, lead the leadership development strategy, and lead other high priority initiatives.
In this role, you will:- Manage and develop multiple functions with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
- Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
- Work across Risk areas to develop and implement core and common talent development solutions while influencing partners to collectively agree on joint strategies in support of overall Corporate Risk and Wells Fargo vision objectives
- Work with Human Resources L&D to ensure effective partnership and alignment with L&D policies and procedures
- Develop and execute the Corporate Risk Learning Plan
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for effective execution
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Manage and develop a team focused on delivering complex services for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners
- Provide forward looking and strategic learning, as well as talent development consultation and solutions
- Serve as a strategic partner and leader focused on increasing the effectiveness of talent development programs and solutions
- Manage the planning, development, implementation, and integration of learning initiatives that help achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives
- Lead team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues, control risk, and meet high priority deliverable expectations
- Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced leadership
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:- 8+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience,
- Learning and Development Design experience
- Leadership development and talent management experience
- Survey methodology experience
- Proven successful experience presenting information to an executive audience
- Resourceful; able to use relationships, information, and tools to learn, navigate organizational structures, create effective plans, build new relationships, and address complex challenges.
- Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an executive presence and ability to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
- Proven success working horizontally across a large, complex organization and participating in enterprise-wide implementations.
- Well-honed ability to cultivate relationships, collaborate with multiple stakeholders and constituencies, listen for understanding, and engender creative thinking and teamwork.
- Proven ability to demonstrate resourcefulness in navigating through ambiguity and ability to maintain momentum while driving for clarity and results.
- An ability to develop and articulate sound proposals to key stakeholders and an ability to influence and drive timely decision making.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in driving successful execution of plans; ability to plan, prioritize, set goals, and achieve expected results.
- Experience leading transformation efforts
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with an ability to translate ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions.
- Significant experience analyzing complex problems and developing and operationalizing solutions.
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment.
- Robust experience managing and resolving issues, risks, scope, schedule, dependencies, assumptions, and communications, and planning across large projects.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Sense of urgency about exceeding the objectives of the role
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changing priorities.
- Agile - able to implement and manage changes.
