Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (Assistant) for DESTACO is responsible for providing high levels of customer service through accurate and timely response to customer order placement, quotation preparation, reporting and other customer inquiries. S/he will learn and maintain product knowledge and collaborate across the organization to provide accurate and timely information to ensure customer satisfaction.
The Customer Service Representative reports to Customer Service Supervisor and is located in Shanghai, China. This position requires the ability to work and communicate with Sales, Product and Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service, Technical Support and external business partners.
Key Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Responds to customer inquiries received through email, telephone, fax or other means, ensuring alignment with customer needs including assessing and delivering product packing requirements and most cost-effective method of shipment.
- Assists in providing the accurate quotations to customers and track the results
- Receives and processes order additions, changes, and deletions required by the customer in an accurate and timely manner. Clarifies order discrepancies with the customer.
- Be responsible for the signing and management of the contacts, as well as overdue receivables.
- Provides various reports e.g. AR list, Daily Report, Weekly plan, Customer performance and etc.
- Assists in new customer, business partner set up according to Compliance requirement and maintains Know Your Customer
- Assists in marketing related initiatives.
- Performs other jobs as assigned.
