The Opportunity
The Network Development Specialist is responsible for recruitment of Out of Network Dentist into the MetLife PDP Network. The NDS is also responsible for retention and fee negotiations to maintain the MetLife Preferred Dentist in the MetLife Network. The NDS role supports New Sales and the current MetLife Book of Business on a National Level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a qualified and professional Network Team with MetLife.
Success in this role requires strong recruitment and negotiation skills. The Network Development Specialist is responsible for the recruitment of Out of Network Dentist into the MetLife Preferred Network and retention of MetLife Preferred Dentist. You’ll collaborate closely with other Network Development Specialist, Sales and Client Services in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
The Team You Will Join
Network Development position requires recruitment of Out of Network Dentist into the MetLife PPDP Network. Fee Schedule Negotiations with OON dentist.
Retention and fee negotiations to maintain MetLife PDP Providers in the MetLife Dental Network.

- Lead recruitment efforts in their assigned territory.
- Create OON list that they will target for recruitment.
- Oversee the maintenance of their assigned network territory.
- Manage recruitment of OON dentist, fee negotiations, and retention.
- Develop retention strategies to maintain providers in their assigned territory.
- Coordinate onsite recruitment for their assigned territory.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 Years in a Dental Recruitment position.
- CRM, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Teams
- Excellent Communication Skills, Time Management and Organizational Skills.
- Confident, Adaptable and Positive.
