Application Development Advisor
What does a successful Application Development Advisor do at Fiserv?
You will develop solutions to support functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals. You will communicate with clients, business and Information Technology on design strategies and collaboration throughout life cycle.
What will you do:
- Consult with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services
- Support existing business systems applications
- Perform additional job duties as required
- Work on moderate to complex projects and issues within functional area
- Coach and lead less experienced IT staff and business managers
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of related Information Technology experience
- 5+ years of experience programming in multiple languages and tools
- 5+ years of experience working with application development technologies, tools, and methodologies
- 5+ years of experience developing in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Rest API, MYSQL, SnowFlake, AWS services including GlueJobs, AWS transfer family, AWS Cloud Watch, Secret Manager
- 5+ years of experience working in the payment industry
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- Strong understanding of complex internal business processes or functions
- Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market & industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of Fiserv
- Experience interpreting payment industry requirements into business technical requirements and understanding relationships and impacts
