Position Summary/Objective:
The Region Manager will be responsible for overall New Member Acquisition, Incremental Volume Growth and in providing appropriate Technology Solutions to our members with focus on websites and marketing. This position covers five states representing the Southeast Region as follows: Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Remote Work/Travel: This position will work remotely from a home address and subject to AVB’s Remote Work policies and procedures which are then in effect. This person must live within the Region assigned in order to maximize coverage and efficiency. In addition, from time to time, this position will be required to engage in travel, including travel to attend AVB’s Annual All-Employee Meeting as well as other travel obligations which may be required of the position such as meetings with prospects and/or members, attendance at conventions and shows and other events where you will represent AVB. (Any requests for accommodations to required travel (including medical) should be addressed with Human Resources. This position requires field travel within the assigned Region estimated at approximately 35-50% of the time.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- High performance career results in sales preferably in appliances and/or furniture.
- Accountability for delivering against sales goals utilizing bottom-up forecasting.
- Strategic new member acquisition while managing existing member portfolios.
- Profitable revenue growth with comprehensive category mix alignment.
- Understanding of advanced technology solutions with ability to recommend and provide.
- High ethical standards complemented by solid integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong listening, prospecting, presenting and closing skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
- Five to seven years of sales experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Utilization of a personal car with IRS regulated mileage reimbursement.
- Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
