Culture Communications Strategist
The Opportunity
As a Culture Communications Strategist, you have a passion for storytelling and a knack for translating complex strategies and policies into conversational communications that bring people together. You’re plugged into culture with a curiosity for how to cultivate dynamic campaigns in partnership with creative teams, program leads, and business stakeholders. You know the complexities of drafting a multi-channel content strategy from concept to completion – incorporating the voice of the employee and data-driven insights along the way. You adjust tone on the fly and thrive in the gray space. You know how to connect the dots across channels to drive toward consistent messaging and inspire action.
In this role, you’ll develop compelling content that resonates with a variety of audiences, balancing tight deadlines and stakeholder needs, while monitoring progress and identifying integration points and target metrics as needed. Working with program leads, you’ll determine the most effective ways to reinforce behavioral outcomes via accessible, actionable communications and compelling creative. Deliverables include but are not limited to website copy, talking points, social media posts, marketing materials, and strategy briefs. Experience in multimedia content creation, including audio and video production.
This role is essential in shaping the narrative of our company’s culture and values while elevating our messaging to new heights. You are self-motivated with exceptional communication skills, a creative mindset, and a sharp business acumen. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
You Have:
5+ years of experience with content-creation, content development, and technical or creative writing
Experience with project management, including developing, managing, and implementing project plans successfully
Ability to translate ideas and concepts into professional products
Ability to provide writing samples or a portfolio of original content
Ability to build positive relationships within and outside of the core team and with senior leaders, driving positive influence and thought leadership
HS diploma or GED
Nice if You Have
Experience with web graphics, social media, and online marketing
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
