In this role, you will:
- Maintain a high quality account portfolio through the maintenance, collections, restructuring, modification, refinancing, transferring and file updating on all leases, lease purchases, conditional sales contracts and promissory notes
- Disposition equipment through sales, renewal and release on all terminations
- Utilize a solid understanding of company policies, procedures and collection systems in performance of duties
- Receive direction from supervisors
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Commercial Collections experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Collections experience
- Banking or financial operations experience
- Customer service/Customer Care experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner
- Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to influence and drive for results and process improvement
