Integrated Logistics/Product (ILS/IPS) Manager

The Opportunity
KBRs Land Domain Team is currently seeking qualified and experienced ILS Manager to provide management and integrated logistics support our Land Vehicle Systems Branch.
The ILS Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the upgrade of the current fleet of protected mobility vehicle modernisation program.
- Assist with planning of the ILS Program including the development of ILS strategies, concepts and workforce plan.
- Provision of ILS specialist advice associated with the analysis, definition and planning for project execution.
- Oversight, management and delivery of ILS artefacts (ILSC, ILSP, ILSI, ILS and support contract SOW and DIDs and DSDs and FMS documentation).
- Provision of SME advice to the review of contract deliverables (including, but not limited to: TETP, RPIL, RPL, MRSL).
- Contribute to the input/review of technical data in the form of drawings, illustrations, specifications, handbooks (UHB, EMEI’s), manuals, instructions
- Provision of SME materiel sustainment advice to higher management and technical reviews.
- Provide technical advice to Engineering Change Proposals and RODUMs in accordance with the Technical Regulatory Framework
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders (PMs, Engineers, client groups, functional departments) to ensure ILS activities are appropriately managed.
- Provide Inventory Management support utilising MILIS skills.
- Assist inventory & supply support tasks as required, including:
- support to submission of codification requests to the National Codification Bureau (NCB)
- conduct receipt and issue of stock
- support inventory movement between accounts and conduct MILIS transactions
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
The successful candidate will be/have:
- A suitably qualified ILS Professional with a minimum of 7+ years experience within Defence or a related industry;
- Strong working knowledge of Defence Logistics systems, tools and processes;
- General familiarity with land vehicle systems (desirable);
- Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle (advantageous); and
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
This role is based at Victoria Barracks in Melbourne and requires a current AGSVA Security Clearance.
