The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor / Team Lead for an emerging full-time, permanent opportunity based in either Canberra, Adelaide, or Melbourne.
This role will play a crucial part in leading and managing a team of engineering and technical staff within a major Capability Project. You will coordinate and prioritise work across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure the successful acquisition, integration, and transition of Mission Systems into sustainment.
Reporting to the Program Engineering Lead, the Engineering Supervisor will take charge of day-to-day project engineering activities, aligning with project needs and objectives. Additionally, you may be tasked to assist other projects when required, depending on workload.
This position requires an active NV1 AGSVA security clearance.

As the ideal candidate, you will bring:
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams within Defence projects
• Strong coordination and prioritisation skills across multiple engineering disciplines
• Ability to support project requirements for acquiring, integrating, and transitioning Mission Systems into sustainment
• Experience in interfacing with both Program Engineering Leads and Project Managers to ensure successful engineering outcomes
• Flexibility to assist other projects as needed based on workload
• A strategic approach to engineering management within complex, multidisciplinary projects
