Job Summary
Coordinates and supports all staffing related activities associated with hiring candidates for CSX from when a need is identified until the need has been filled. As a Talent Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring great candidate experience from problem solving technical issues, providing logistical support, to supporting the New Hire Orientation.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with candidates, internal team members, business partners and vendors
- Ensure all hiring/onboarding processes are complete and in compliance with company and Federal regulations
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondences for the talent acquisition lifecycle
- Initiate and process all new hire paperwork, maintain files, create and interpret reports, and other pertinent human resource records
- Support New Hire Orientation
- Collaboratively work with the Talent Advisors to meet hiring projections
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
- Conduct Phone Screens with candidates
- Handle high volume, fast-paced recruiting activities
- Sourcing Candidates on Job Sites IE: LinkedIn, Indeed, etc
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 or more years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree/2-year Degree
- 1 or more years of experience in a Staffing Environment and in the Railroad Industry
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of core staffing processes
- Knowledge of FCRA regulations, DOL & OFCCP regulations and other Human Resource compliance related issues
- Customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to create and facilitate presentations
- Experience working within an ATS
