Job Summary
In addition to performing functions and responsibilities of specific to the Aviation Maintenance Technician 135 Pool role, this position is also responsible for inventory and Ramco software maintenance and training. The AMT Software Trainer and Administrator assists bases with inventory needs and training on Ramco processes. This position will assist with other Aviation Maintenance Technician 135 Pool needs within the region. The AMT Software Trainer and Administrator will oversee inventory counts for bases within the region as well as assist with new hires on continued Ramco training. The AMT Software Trainer and Administrator is responsible for mentoring AMTs within the region.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Aviation Maintenance Technician 135 Pool
- Perform all core duties of the Aviation Maintenance Technician 135 Pool positiion at an exceptional level.
Training and Mentoring
- Work in in conjunction with the RMD to develop training.
- Report to RMD and Lead Mechanics on AMT training progress.
- Mentor new employees in the understanding of Ramco inventory and GMM Procedures.
- Coordinate with AMC maintenance support and planning on training needs for field AMTs.
- Software/Hardware Maintenance and Technical Support
- Supervise and provide end-user services, including help desk, setting up new users and technical support services.
- Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
- Oversee hardware life expectancy and integration of new hardware.
- Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve hardware problems.
- Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users.
Inventory and Ordering
- Work in in conjunction with the RMD to track inventory.
- Provide expertise and support during inventory and support of maintenance.
- Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and ordering of material for usage in the region at the base level.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of AMC part 135 maintenance requirements and procedures
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper-based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
- Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of concepts and practices of their specific discipline's skills and their application.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently and to work on problems of diverse scope and implement solutions.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the AMC Safety Management System.
Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- FAA A&P or meet requirements to obtain a FAA repairman certificated preferred

Pay Range
USD $34.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
