Title:
Construction Manager
Possesses some supervisory responsibilities. Reviews initial project data and writes scopes of work. Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of the project. Supervises the project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities. Provides job site liaison with home office engineering personnel. Interprets drawings and specifications for job site queries. Supervises job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents. Assists engineering, QA/QC, commissioning/start up, and client in defining the turnover systems and schedules systems for turnover.
This position is located at a client site in Richmond, VA. No relocation or per diem will be offered.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be US Citizen and eligible to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or experience in lieu of a degree
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be able to provide examples of writing abilities
Must have the ability to work in a team environment
Clear Criminal Background Check required
Must have the ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, ladders, walk long distances, and work outside in seasonal weather conditions
