Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
As a Human Resource Associate - Travel, you will perform routine assignments as an entry-level HR professional and develop core job competencies with existing procedures by solving common problems.
You will be responsible for coordinating all travel-related activities for LOGCAP employees and ensure that travel arrangements are efficient, cost-effective, and comply with company policies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Arrange and manage travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, and transportation for employees.
- Ensure all travel arrangements adhere to company and project travel policies and budget constraints.
- Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other vendors to negotiate rates and secure bookings.
- Process travel expense reports and ensure timely reimbursement for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of travel itineraries, bookings, and expenses.
- Assist employees with travel-related inquiries and issues.
- Generate and analyze travel reports to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist with other HR functions and projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of office experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
- Must have excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience supporting a Human Resources group/department.
- Experience with the Workday ATS.
