Your Mission is:
The Analytics Enablement Team is looking for a dedicated Analytics Engineer on a 12-month contract-to-hire basis. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to critical projects while gaining experience and deepening your technical expertise. After 12 months, there will be an opportunity to transition into a full-time permanent role based on performance and business needs.
As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and studio partners to build and maintain data systems that facilitate efficient data analysis across the organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and capable of supporting the needs of our business.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to implement analytics solutions that support the goals of game designers and engineers.
Assist in developing and maintaining data warehouses to provide a centralized and organized repository for our analytics teams.
Work with data engineering and data analytics teams to build and implement project plans, enhancing our reporting capabilities.
Support the design and development of data solutions that ensure data integrity throughout our pipelines.
Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Contribute to establishing and enforcing data quality standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics outputs.
Communicate technical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Efficiency Improvements: Enhancing the efficiency of data workflows by contributing to the design and optimization of ETL processes.

Communication: Supporting clear and effective communication efforts within analytics engineering projects.
Documentation: Assisting in the creation of comprehensive and understandable documentation for data models, ETL processes, and other technical aspects.
Domain Knowledge: Sharing knowledge and insights to foster a collaborative and communicative team culture.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: A BA/BS degree in a technical field is required, with a preference for majors in Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related areas. Equivalent practical experience is also highly valued.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python for querying and handling complex datasets. Experience with Airflow or other workflow management platforms is a plus.
Data Visualization: Basic familiarity with creating data visualizations using platforms like Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to work with business partners, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Industry-Specific Knowledge (Desirable): Experience in gameplay analytics or a similar domain is a plus but not required.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $77,500.00 - $143,376.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
