Job Description
This role can be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, or remote.

The role of a Senior Content Manager is to develop and implement a portfolio of learning courses on Technology related topic courses for enterprise learners. This involves extensive market research and professional networking to understand the needs of both individual learners and enterprise buyers, and then to identify and recruit the best instructors for bringing the content to the LinkedIn platform. This role requires experience with building a broad and deep Tech curriculum and knowing how to support instructors throughout the course creation pipeline. Extensive cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments is also key to success.
This role requires experience and comfort with learning content development for technology professionals. While this role will focus exclusively on building a content program for the Network and System Administration roadmap, experience specifically to this specific area of content isn’t required. Heavy experience in recruiting and acquiring SME talent for course creation is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive, develop, and execute a content curriculum for the enterprise customer and learner that also aligns with the broader strategic objectives of LinkedIn Learning content strategy. Evaluate and evolve all aspects of this plan, including continually reviewing feedback and analytics; researching current and evolving educational needs; performing ongoing competitive analysis; attending industry conferences as needed; and developing a network of instructors and partners. This is a heavy instructor/content/talent acquisitions role with a need for smart strategic thinking.
- Identify new topic areas and learning formats to expand the breadth and depth, and impact of the Technology library for a global English audience. This role will focus specifically on the IT Network and System Administration learner.
- Recruit, assess, and retain the best possible instructor partnerships to execute the content plan, including acquiring high-profile instructors and partners, coaching partners for long term success, and managing long-term relationships by maintaining consistent communication (feedback, questions, and content suggestions); negotiate complex contracts and instructor compensation in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Partner with the Production and Content teams on the execution of the strategic content plan, including hitting publishing targets for the amount of content signed and published, as well as securing a steady flow of content to key audiences.
- Acquire and evolve a learning curriculum specific for IT/System Administration enterprise learners at any point in their career and for any skill level.
- Partner with Business Development, Production, and Content teams on the execution of a strategic content plan, including hitting acquisitions targets that secures a steady flow of content for the key audience.
- Implement expertise around learning models, content improvements and other learning goals in order to develop a robust learning program.
- Partner with marketing, sales, business development, and product teams to grow membership and engagement; includes educating and supporting those teams to further company and content goals.
- Evangelize and champion branded third-party content offerings internally to ensure that the company is prepared to discuss our expanding library and its direction; includes developing, tracking, and sharing metrics and success criteria for segment performance.
- Coordinate and champion select Content areas across the larger Content program; includes educating peers and helping contribute to high-quality coordinated results.
- Acquire instructors/courses per a quarterly signing goal.
- This role will require minimum travel
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience acquiring content, negotiating legal agreements, and managing instructor and partnership relationships.
- Experience in publishing in Technology related areas.
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects in various stages of the product development cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment of ambiguity and change.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
