Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary
As the Foreman of Generator Operations for the Power Generation program in Germany, this position guarantees efficient oversight of contractual obligations, internal protocols, and procedures. The Foreman is tasked with upholding ideal inventory levels by managing parts inventory, scrutinizing, and validating all maintenance tasks, and evaluating subcontractor repair estimates. The generator foreman must be knowledgeable of generators of a variety of makes, models, and sizes, as well as provide excellent customer service and keep accurate records. Furthermore, the Foreman conducts technical inspections and operational assessments, offering direction to subcontracted workers during repair operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee and provide guidance for the Power Generation program.
Direct generator mechanics across Germany to ensure comprehensive coverage of all needs.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and internal protocols.
Manage parts procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
Validate all Preventive Maintenance (PM), services, and repairs on Generators and Work Orders conducted by KBR mechanics and subcontractors.
Approve or reject repair estimates from subcontractors.
Conduct technical inspections and operational checks on generators and light sets at various camps across Germany.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
Follow HAZMAT regulations for waste materials from generators.
Offer guidance to subcontracted workers during repair tasks.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
5 years of leadership experience.
Ability to speak English.
Proficient in working with various generators and engines, such as SDMO with John Deere/Doosan engines, Himoinsa with Yanmar/FPT IVECO engines, Cummins with Cummins engines, and Onis Visa with Perkins engines.
Prior overseas experience is desirable.
Skilled in collaborating with individuals whose native language is not English.
Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Must be a Polish citizen.
