Paragon Systems is a locally owned Electrical & Low Voltage Contractor and is currently seeking a motivated Delivery/ Warehouse Associate to join and enhance our current team by becoming an integral part of our day to day operations.
Job Description
-Delivery Driver is responsible for the pickup of materials from vendor warehouses and the delivery of materials to the company warehouse or job sites in a professional manner.
-Delivery areas include Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino Counties. Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to map out the most efficent routes depending on the workload for the day.
-Must be able to ensure that the materials and equipment loaded are correct according to type and quantity, and that all related paperwork (receivers, manifests, and other delivery documents) are properly signed, organized, and submitted to purchasing and accounting in a timely fashion.
-Must be able to properly stage job sites in an efficient manner as directed by your supervisor. Must be able to deliver to construction projects that meet the strictest of industry safety stadards, while constantly focusing on the customer service aspects as well as fostering long-standing client and employee relationships.
-Responsible for the accuracy of all inbound and outbound product shipments, including checking vendor counts, and reporting discrepancies to vendors and your supervisor.
- Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic or anything that may impact the time sensitivity of projects to your supervisor so that all affected parties can be notified.
-Must be a a dependable self-starter who possesses a strong work ethic , as well as the discipline and self-control to handle stressful sitiuations.
Requirements
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record, we will require DMV to verify.
-Must be able to pass DOJ background check for the State of California ,
and pre Employment Drug Screen.
- Verifiable experience in driving delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs
- Ability to professionally communicate with all types of people
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have neat professional appearance
- Verifiable past employment of reliability and punctuality.
