Work Arrangement :
Remote OR Hybrid: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Milford, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

What You’ll Do:
As a Data Engineer, you will build industrialized data assets and optimize data pipelines in support of Business Intelligence and Advance Analytic objectives. You will work closely with our forward-thinking Data Scientists, BI Developers, System Architects and Data Architects to deliver value to our vision for the future. Required Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics, and other applicable technical degrees.
- Must be graduating between December 2025 and May 2028
- Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week.
- Understanding of Advanced SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
- Hands on experience with at least one object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc. (intern/school projects acceptable)

- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery etc.
- Create highly consistent and accurate analytic datasets suitable for business intelligence and data scientist team members.
- Implements code that anticipates and handles failure modes gracefully.
- Maintain Master Data, Metadata, Data Management Repositories, Logical Data Models, Data Standards.
Start dates for this internship role are May & June of 2025.
Compensation:
- The salary range for this role is 4,000-5,400, dependent upon class status and degree.
- GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
