What This Role Is…
As a Senior Microsoft Services Administrator, the primary function of this position is to maintain our Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Office 365 instances. The Senior Microsoft Services Administrator is also responsible for leading the implementation of best-in-class standards and operating procedures for the above technologies. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Technology Department at CITY Furniture.

Reports To: Sr. Cloud Services Manager
Location: Remote, Tamarac, or Plant City
Department/Sub-Department: Technology/ Technology Services
Salary: $100,000 - 120,000 DOE
What You’ll Do…
As a Senior Microsoft Services Administrator, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Active Directory infrastructure. As a Senior Microsoft Services Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our network authentication and authorization systems.
- Active Directory Design and Implementation.
- User and Group Management: Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources.
- Group Policy Management: Develop and enforce Group Policies to standardize and secure desktop configurations, application settings, and security settings across the network.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain reliable backup and recovery processes for Active Directory, ensuring minimal downtime in the event of data loss or system failure.
- Manage, monitor and support our Microsoft Windows servers. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the servers are up and always running smoothly. In addition, you will be required to maintain, patch and upgrade the servers as needed.
- Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
- Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
- Monitoring and updating the Windows codebase.
- Monitoring system performance.
- Manage our Office 365 platform including OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Viva, InTune, licensing administration, etc. The Administrator's main responsibility is to design, implement and support various types of Office 365 hosted application services which enable collaboration, security, mobility, and analytics for the organization.
- Ensuring the operational health of the O365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
- Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.
- Develop future strategies for Office 365 products and services.
- Administer and support Office 365 and MS Exchange policies.
- Administer and support Office 365 SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Administer and support system backup and disaster recovery processes.
Additional duties and responsibilities as a Senior Microsoft Services Administrator:
- Work with the Cloud Services team to facilitate implementation of new services where Microsoft technologies are involved
- Adhere to assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

What’s Required…
- Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Work Environment & Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Will be part of an on-call rotation for supporting services which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- If working remotely, travel to Tamarac office once per quarter and for special events.
- Travel for industry trade shows.
- Less than 10% Travel.
- Physical Requirements:
- Position may have periods of prolonged sitting.
- Technology Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD architecture, design, and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows servers architecture, design, and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of Office 365 architecture, design, and implementation.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Expert understanding of Windows Server operating systems and associated technologies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and management.
- Experience with Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures within Active Directory.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and best practices for servers and Active Directory.
- Certifications / Licenses
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Server Hybrid, Windows Server, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, and Microsoft 365 Administrator are a plus.
