Job Summary
KBR is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to support programs within a PEO Project Office. Responsible for technical and creative development, design, configuration, and sustainment of the organization's SharePoint site, taking advantage of the full scope of SharePoint capabilities, especially in the area of user interface and content design. Present findings, research, and recommendations to Government customers for decision and action. Responsible for developing a vision and plan to support the organization’s communication and information needs, including strategies for expanding the use of SharePoint, knowledge management tools, and other collaborative software. Interface and assist with civilian, military, and contract personnel in a team environment as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive documentation related to knowledge management, including policies, standard operating procedures, processes, and guidelines.
- Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflows across departments and project teams.
- Implement and manage knowledge management processes to ensure the right information is accessible and promptly applied.
- Monitor progress and learning processes, provide relevant coaching and training to champion a knowledge management culture.
- Capture and manage new knowledge using advanced knowledge management systems
- Design and develop custom business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI).
- Automate workflows and integrate systems to improve business processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Provide training and support to team members on using Power Platform tools effectively.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for various departments, ensuring optimal functionality and user engagement.
- Update content of SharePoint, including site administration such as permissions management, developing and configuring web pages, developing and configuring web parts, lists, views, libraries, Office client integration, content management, etc.
- Configure SharePoint pages and add custom scripts using HTML, CSS, and JSON to enhance site usability and information dissemination.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Information Management, Information Technology, Education or other related field with 2+ years of experience.
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of professional experience is required.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge and skill with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps
- Demonstrated ability to build teams, re-engineer business processes, and motivate others to attain new and unfamiliar goals and objectives.
- An inherent working knowledge of the Department of Defense Acquisition process
- Proven ability to assess complex problems and to synthesize assessments into a coherent position.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
- Work well within a team and interact professionally with senior civilian and military leadership.
Training Requirements:
- Able to attain Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) or other widely recognized KM Certification
